What’s for Dinner? Sunday link up #386

Well hello finally. Sorry I’m late again.  Writing posts are going to be slow going for a while. Took a tumble yesterday and broke my wrist. It’s really hard to type with only one hand. So for the next six weeks this may be late, there will be fewer posts, but I’m hanging in there and I’m gonna get the job done.

Thank you all for your positive thoughts. And in the meantime, let me know what’s for dinner

Helen, I hope your wrist heals quickly and that you are feeling better soon!

  2. Cindy Handy says:

Oh! I can commiserate with you! Tripped over the coffee table 10 days ago and fell on left leg. Already had a left knee that I’m trying to avoid knee replacement (knee compression sleeve, steroid shots & occasional draining) and that just made it worse! Thought I’d wait until Monday to call ortho & get x-rays. So, he’s only in office near me Monday & Thursday, and hobbled around on a crutch until Thursday. Went in for x-rays & said “oh, yes ~ left thigh hurts a little too”. After seeing x-rays, he said knee was least of my problems b/c I’d fractured my hip! What?? and been hobbling around for almost a week on it? So, went in hospital that night and had hip replacement next day!! (daughters all said on the phone ~ “Hip? Don’t you mean knee”?) But, actually went home the day after surgery (with a walker) and doing better each day (walked around the grocery store a few days ago). So…. we’ll both be “walking wounded” together ~ haha
