Yikes! Thanksgiving is next week! Are you ready?Â
I’m heading off to the cranberry bogs this week. It’s not only a great day trip into some beautiful scenery in Washington state, but I also get to purchase some cranberries that were harvested right there from the bog. They are frozen, but pretty close to fresh and still higher quality than the bags they sell in the grocery stores. And we love lots of cranberry things!
Do you have any special plans this week? How is your Thanksgiving plan coming? And for this week …
And now it’s time for YOU to come on in and join the party – and bring your friends~
This is a collaboration of ideas ~ And we want yours! Bring your food related posts!

Have a fun time! I love the cranberry harvest when we lived in Ocean Park WA. If you haven’t visited before, do visit the Cranberry Museum, a great way to learn more about cranberries and how they harvest now and in years past.
That’s where we’re going!! The harvest is over but they sell flash frozen berries at the museum. It’s a fun day trip. We’ll likely stop at Duffy’s for lunch – if they are open. It’s become an annual trip for my brother, sister and me.
Thanks for including Ever Ready in the top postings for last week. The shout-out is much appreciated.
Enjoy your week,
Thanks for sharing them Susan – I appreciate you sharing every week.
Thanks so much Helen! I posted a Cranberry Bread Pudding that would be perfect for some of your cranberries~
Oh yum!! I’ll have to check that out!
Thank you for featuring my mashed potato recipe this week!
Thanks for sharing it. Those potatoes look so good – I want to stick my finger in them!
Good day Helen, Hope you enjoyed your cranberry bogs and managed to get lots of fresh and yummy cranberries. It reminded me of one of the links I shared and I will now have to go and find some cranberries myself although it will be frozen, but nevertheless delicious.
I linked up this week with = 25+26. Hope you will join us M-S SeniorSalonPitStop and W-S #WordlessWednesday. You will find both under BLOGGING.
Thanks – We’re heading out there today. The harvest is past, but they flash freeze them and we can buy those at the bog museum. It’s really a fun day too!
Thank you for hosting, Helen! This week I’m linking up a few of my favorite holiday veggie sides. Peas and Pearl Onions, Garlicky Green Beans and Roasted Delicata Squash.
OH it all sounds delicious!! I love green beans and I love garlic – I think I might need that recipe!
Thanks for hosting and inspiring us each week, enjoy your week…
Thanks for joining us!! Your recipes are inspiring!
Gosh I haven’t been to a cranberry bog in ages! We used to go fairly frequently with my grandparents growing up. There are quite a few of them in Massachusetts.
I’m in the Pacific Northwest. Washington state has several. It’s a fun day trip!
