We are one week into 2023 and so far it’s been pretty good. I’m still hoping for snow (not ice). I’ve started planning my garden for this year and am excited to try to grow some new vegetables! And one more time, I’m trying to start from seeds. Fingers crossed. This garden has been a learn as you go process!
Do you grow a garden? What do you plan on growing this year? And how are those meal plans coming? Tell us …
So come on in and join the party – and bring your friends~
This is a collaboration of ideas ~ And we want yours! Bring your food related posts!

Thanks so much Helen! Good luck with your garden, I seem to have a black thumb
I’m learning by trial and error – and my space is small, but I love farmer’s markets too!
Hi, Helen; I love to grow new vegetables in my garden every year, and as you do, I start dreaming of my crops in the middle of winter! Thank you for hosting another great party, and especially for including my Turkey Leftovers – Six Ways amongst your features. This week I am sharing Meatballs in Tomato Sauce (the Mexican way). Have an awesome week!
I’m going to try pineapple tomatillos this year. Your leftovers look amazing – as do all your recipes!
Happy New Year
Thanks for the shout-out to a dish from the Ever Ready blog.
I appreciate the opportunity to post each week on What’s For Dinner.
Thanks Susan – I appreciate that you support our party every week. You have some great dishes to share!
Hope you have a great week and thanks so much for the party!
Miz Helen
Thanks Helen – Same to you. Stay dry over there in Texas!
Thank you for hosting this party, Helen! It will be a couple of months before we can think about a spring garden here in New England, but last year I did grow most of my flowers and herbs from seed. Most turned out well and I saved some money starting my dollar store seeds in dixie cups!
I love your idea to use dixie cups!! I’m going to try it! Thanks.
Thank you for the inspiring ideas and recipes – GREAT party as always. I brought PAN SEARED CHICKEN with MCGILLICUDDY SAUCE, RASPBERRY STEAK & TOMATO SALAD and BUTTERMILK FUDGE BROWNIES. Have a WONDERFUL week!
THanks Tamy – and thanks for adding to the list of inspiring recipes! Have a wonderful week.
