Ingredients
  • 2 whole Apples I used honeycrisp
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons melted butter
  • whipped cream
  • Ground Cinnamon
Instructions
  1. First, cut the apples in half and clean out the core, leaving a well in the center. I used honeycrisp apples, but you can use your favorite apple.

  2. Lay the halves, bottom down, in a baking pan big enough to hold all the apples.

  3. Put 1/2 Tablespoon of brown sugar into the center well of each apple.

  4. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of butter over each apple half, then sprinkle on some ground cinnamon.

  5. Preheat the oven to 350°, then place the apples in and bake for about an hour.

  6. Spoon the caramel from the bottom of the pan to the over each apple half.

  7. Serve with whipped cream (or ice cream) and top with more of the liquid gold from the bottom of the pan and enjoy! You will want more!
