Fresh Cherry Popsicles

Just three ingredients makes an easy, refreshing summer snack.

  • 1 cups fresh, pitted cherries,
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1-1/4 cup water
  1. Place all the ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat and simmer, smashing the cherries with the back of a spoon.

  3. When the consistency is like syrup, turn the heat off and allow to cool.

  4. Pour the cherries and the syrup into a blend and puree on high until the mixture is fairly smooth and well blended.

  5. Pour evenly into popsicle molds and freeze until solid - at least 6 hours.

  6. Carefully release from the mold and enjoy!
