Ingredients
  • 1 16oz package premade tortellini - fresh is best
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2/3 cup salted butter
  • 12-14 whole leaves sage
Instructions
  1. Start by cooking the tortellini according to the package instructions. I used the fresh tortellini you find in the refrigerator section, but dried would work too as long as it's filled.

  2. And, as for the filling, I used prosciutto and cheese. You should choose a filling that sounds good to you.

  3. Next crisp the sage. Put the olive oil in the pan and heat on high. Gently lay the leaves in. When they stop bubbling, take them out. The moisture is gone and they will be crispy.

  4. Set them aside.

  5. Next make the browned butter. Add the butter and heat on medium, stirring constantly. Add the garlic. Keep cooking until you see the brown starting to form.

  6. Remove it from the heat and add the tortellini. Stir the tortellini with the browned butter to cover each piece with the butter.

  7. Serve topped with crispy sage and enjoy!!
