The classic tater tot casserole with a breakfast twist - sausage instead of ground beef!
Preheat the oven to 350°.
Start by browning the sausage. Make sure it is totally cooked.
Lightly oil an 8X8 casserole dish, lay half the tater tots on the bottom. Top with half the sausage and 1/3 of the cheese.
Lay down a second layer.
Place the eggs, milk, lemon pepper and garlic salt in a bowl and whisk it all together.
Pour the mixture over the tater tots and top with the remaining cheese.
Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is brown and bubbling and the eggs are cooked through.
Remove from the oven and allow to rest for five to ten minutes.
Serve hot! Make it a meal with a side of fresh fruit.
