Wine Braised Short Ribs

Deliciously slow cooked in wine, these short ribs will simply melt in your mouth!  Easy to make and worth the wait!

What you need:

  • 2 – 3  pounds of short ribs
  • 1 ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic – crushed
  • ½ cup dry red wine
  • 5-6 sprigs fresh rosemary

How to Do it:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

Rub the salt, pepper and crushed garlic over all sides of the short ribs.  Place the ribs in a large casserole dish and surround each with the rosemary.

Pour the wine in the pan, cover and place in a hot oven.

Bake for 1 ½ hours.  Remove the lid and bake another 30 minutes.  Meat should fall off the bone and be totally tender.

Makes 4 servings.

These go great with Parmesan Potatoes!
