These delicious little garlic rounds of goodness are perfect party appetizers or sides for soups or stews. They are super simple to make and wonderful to eat!
Here’s How to Do it:
Start by cutting the baguette into slices about 1/2 to 3/4 inches thick. Lightly toast in a 350° oven. Wrap in foil to keep warm until the garlic is ready to spread.
And now those little cloves of wonder –
Heat the butter in a skillet on medium until it’s melted. Add the cloves and saute, stirring constantly until the butter starts to brown.
Stir in the wine and simmer until all the cloves are soft and the liquid has reduced.
Smash the garlic while it’s still in the pan and continue to simmer until it as all become a soft paste.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Spread the warm garlic over the toasts and serve immediately. Delicious!
