Oh – and the 4th of July is one week from today! So much to do – so much to figure out and I’m too hot right now to care. I don’t want to move let alone cook. But we still need eat – so …

Wow Helen, those high temperatures! It’s going to be warm here in the Northeast this week, but low 90’s is about as bad as it gets. I will definitely be using my air fryer more this summer since it doesn’t heat up the kitchen!

    • HelenFern says:

We hit 113 yesterday. But it’s supposed to start cooling down tomorrow. My poor old window box AC is having a hard time keeping up. We are eating just salads and sandwiches. It’s even too hot to eat hot foods. ACK!! Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week.

  2. Susan Ready says:

You’ve had some blistering hot temps for your area for sure this has been a warm summer for all. Cooling off with a Mexican Ice-Cream Pie is a terrific idea. And thank you for the shout-out for my recipe. Much appreciated!!

  3. That Mixed Berry Yum Yum certainly does sound yum! Thank you for hosting us all again! I brought by some Garlic Shrimp Pasta with Tomatoes and Greens – super easy to just throw together for a quick meal. :)

  4. Helen, thanks for hosting! I hope you are keeping cool, I know Oregon is having some high temps here lately.

    • HelenFern says:

It’s starting to be hard to deal with. My little window box AC is not able to keep up!! Today is supposed to be the last day – yikes!! What a crazy couple of years! Thanks.

My husband & I were out of town for a little down time so I am running a bit late this week. Lots of wonderful post to look at for the party this week and thanks so much for hosting!
