What’s for Dinner? Sunday link up #293

Good morning – and sorry the party is late! What a week I’ve had!

Seems like one thing after another has happened this week. I put my car keys in my jacket pocket when I went to the grocery store. It got warm so I took it off and set it on the cart. I never even noticed it fell off until after I paid for the groceries and went to get my car keys out. Oh no!! Turned out the man behind me walking in the isle saw it fall and took it. Picked it up and put it in his cart (security cameras are a good thing), keys and all. Had to have my car towed home and then disconnect the battery. The key fob not only opened and started the car, you can find which car the key goes to!! A few hours later someone found the keys in the parking lot.

SO – I reconnected the battery but the car wouldn’t start. Great. My alternator went out. My brain started running dollar signs! And if that was not enough, while I was working on Friday’s post, my computer crashed. And it’s still not well, but enough that I can at least get this post done – albeit late.

So here we are for this week – the best place to come to figure out…

  1. Oh my! I thought I had a bad week! So, he STOLE them in the end? Did you get the battery disconnected you think, and he tried the keys with nothing working so he threw them down?? And the alternator. When it rains it pours. At least you have the keys now and didn’t have to have the ignition changed. You are a girl after my own heart knowing how to disconnect the battery! My daad taught me that, how to get the auto choke to start with a screwdriver, and change a tire. Which I did, in the snow, 7 months pregnant! True story even though it sounds like a joke. I bow before you lady!! Panic but not melt down. Happy Holidays and plz STAY SAFE!!!!! Hugz.
