These tasty little treats are great for a meal or a snack. They can be frozen and reheated. And they are delicious! Pizza sticks anyone?
Here’s How to Make some Pizza Sticks:
Start by cooking up the sausage. Remove it from the pan and set aside once it’s well browned.
Next, prepare all the filling ingredients and set aside. I used ricotta, pepperoni and sausage, but you can fill yours with your favorite pizza filling!
Open the puff pastry and remove 2 sheets, then cut each into thirds, horizontally. Brush each lightly with water.
Each section should be filled with equal amounts of each filling,
but be careful not to over fill.
Wrap the section carefully around the filling and seal with just a touch of water.
Next, lay on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Preheat the oven to 375°. Melt the butter and stir in the garlic. Now brush each stick with the butter, then top with equal amounts of parmesan.
Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dough is browned and cooked through.
Be sure to allow to rest for about 10 minutes before you eat them.
They will be hot in the middle.
Serve with some pizza sauce to dip the sticks in. Enjoy!
