Mummy Poppers

It’s time to bring out all those scary foods to celebrate the season of fright.  Here’s a spooky version of jalapeño poppers!

Mummy Poppers

They are so easy to make –

What you need:

  • 8 fresh, whole jalapeños
  • 4 oz. pepper jack cheese cut into 8 rectangles
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 package refrigerator crescent rolls
  • 16 pepper corns

How to Do it:

Cut a slit in each pepper.  Carefully clean out the seeds and membranes.  Rinse and set aside to dry.

Separate the crescent rolls.  Cut each one into 3 strips.  Wrap the dough around the bacon wrapped pepper to look like mummy wrappings.  Place two pepper corns on the top to look like eyes.
