Who doesn’t love a good chili dog!! Here’s a really easy weeknight meal the whole family will love – a different twist on a classic favorite! Great with leftover chili!
Here’s How to Make a Chili Dog Casserole!
Preheat the oven to 300° –
Start by fixing up the chili. Open a couple cans of your favorite and put it in a casserole dish. I like to add some extra chili powder and a little cumin. Maybe a little bit of lemon pepper. A chili dog is all about the chili.
Next, cut the dogs up into bite sized pieces
and stir them in.
Cover the top with the cheese.
Place the biscuits evenly over the top.
Bake for about 45 minutes. The biscuits should be browned and done on the bottom.
Serve it up with a little more cheese, some chopped onion –
maybe a jalapeño or two – Whatever you like on your cheese dog!
