Bacon- mmmm – Here is a recipe that will blow you away – sweet and salty with a little kick! It’s great with the bacon pancakes we’ll be giving the recipe for tomorrow!
What you need:
- 2 Tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons of bourbon
- 6 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 16 slices of thick sliced bacon
How to Do it:
Lay the bacon on the rack of a baking dish. Mix 1 Tablespoon of the bourbon and brown sugar and spread onto each piece of bacon.
Bake at 300 degrees for about an hour, or until the bacon is crisp. Sprinkle with the remaining bourbon.
Come back tomorrow for some candied bourbon bacon pancakes with bourbon syrup!
