Lets start with a project for the kids. Did you ever make butter? It’s really not that hard! Here are the directions for the kids to each make their own butter [1]for the Thanksgiving meal. Want to keep them busy? Have them make more than one (or two or three), so they can share!

We eat appetizers before dinner – sometimes too many!! Here is a fun Turkey Cheese & Bacon Ball [2] complete with a bacon tail – and you can make your own crackers [3] to go with it!

Every turkey dinner needs some cranberry sauce. It’s not that hard to make it from fresh cranberries and it tastes so much better than the canned stuff. Here are three different ways to prepare it [4].

We like veggies – lots of veggies! Ever had carrots for Thanksgiving? How about some that are glazed with honey and thyme? Well, here ya go!! [5]

And the Brussels sprouts – roasted with bacon [6] and tender and buttery…

Finally dessert. The classic pumpkin pie with a splash of maple! [7] Deliciously similar but slightly different than the classic!

Pecan pie. I love pecan pie. Here is a recipe for individual pies [8] (or a pie for two if you don’t eat as much as me!!). Topped with chocolate and filled with nutty sweetness…
